We all like Free

As I read though a marketing book, I found this exercise:

Make a list of all the services that you offer to customers for free. In other words, these are things you do for customers every day that you do not charge them for.

Here is some of list that I came up with, and I know some are a real stretch!

  1. Different types of flooring to try vacuums out before purchasing them
  2. Set up of your new vacuum
  3. Disposal of the vacuum cleaner box and packing
  4. Training on how to use all the features on your new vacuum
  5. Local Vacuum Cleaner Help line
  6. Online Information
  7. Parking
  8. Carry in and out from the parking lot
  9. Personal attention from the store owners
  10. Vacuum repair appointments
  11. Estimate on repairs (in store only)
  12. Disposal of your old vacuum
  13. No pressure central vacuum quotes
  14. Clean environment to look at a new vacuum
  15. Look-up of what kind of bags you need
  16. ME!!! (I stole this one from the book) With all my years doing repairs and selling vacuum cleaners, I can be a great resource for anyone looking for a good vacuum that will fit in your price range, as well as give you the features you want.

Exclusive products for Dyson authorized dealers

As an authorized Dyson dealer, Dyson has offered two new products to Integrity Vacuum.

These special products are sold only in store and can not be advertised on the Internet. These two special products are designed to help little vacuum shops compete with Internet dealers and big retail stores.
A special thank you to Dyson for these great products and a special thank you to all the customers that help keep small businesses going.
