Each week I will be posting information about the type of customers I am looking for. Check back each week to see if you would be a good customer for Integrity Vacuum.

1.This week I am looking for customers that have dark green carpet in their homes. If you have dark green carpet in your home you know that it is very had to keep them looking clean. 2.This week I am looking for people that are hosting Christmas parties at their home and want to have a clean home they can be proud of.

All natural cleaning products

I belong to a group of vacuum dealer and some of those dealers are selling all natural non toxic cleaning products. I am running this poll to see if this is some thing that the people of Grand Rapids would like me to carry.

Integrity Vacuum helped the City of Kentwood celebrate its 40th, 4th of July by being in this year's parade. I would like to first thank our familys for all their help decorateing our van, and handing out coupons, notebooks and T-shirts. As I read though a marketing book, I found this exercise:

Dogs Love The Dyson Squeaky Vacuum Commercial!

This is one the newest Dyson vacuums. The Slim is the lightest upright that Dyson has available in the US. This vacuum is still backed by a great five-year warranty, and I am a local warranty shop. This Dyson vacuum is one that you really need to stop by and try to believe the performance. Also new from Dyson is a Full Gear package. It can load up your vacuum with all the extra attachments to make your cleaning job easier.

How much should I spend on a new vacuum?

I really never knew how to answer that question until a retired sales rep asked me "how much money do you have invested in food that has to be refrigerated?" Then he asked "how much do you invest to keep it refrigerated?"

After I did a mental check, he asked how much was invested in flooring in my home, and how much did I invest to keep the floors clean? Again, after a little mental note, I realized good equipment is a small investment compared to replacing worn out, dirty, and stained flooring.

After being in the business for a while and learning more about home ownership, I have come up with my own analogy as to how much you should spend. Mine comes through looking at lawn care and lawn care equipment. Using the same principles as before, how much do you have invested in your lawn? Think next about how much you have invested in maintaining your lawn. This includes things like string trimmers, lawn mowers, regular fertilizing, and watering. All of these things go into a beautiful lawn, and you can spend thousands of dollars on all of them. I have nothing bad to say about having a great looking yard, but know that a clean home has advantages beyond looking great. It can go a long way toward better health.

So, how much should you spend on a new vacuum? Only you can really know what it is worth to you. However, I guarantee that no matter how much you want to spend, Integrity Vacuum will get you into the best machine at that price point. Make your vacuum clean better and last longer with this maintenance program

25 Step Preventive Maintenance Program

1) Continuity Test unit before running.

MOTOR INSPECTION

2) Inspect and notify customer if a new fan is necessary.

3) Inspect and notify customer if motor bearings are needed.

4) Inspect Armature for wear

5) Inspect and notify customer if carbon brushes are needed.

6) Reassemble and perform operational and electrical safety tests.

CLEANER ASSEMBLY INSPECTION

7) Install service sticker

8) Clean exterior of unit

9) Perform operational and electrical tests (use continuity tester)

BASE INSPECTION

10) Inspect roller brushes, bearings and notify customer if a new roller brush is necessary.

11) Inspect drive belt for frayed edges or damage and replace if necessary.

12) Remove motor, cleanout and tighten bolts, (Powerhead motor only)

13) Inspect and clean intake duct.

14) Inspect and test height adjustment system

15) Inspect and notify customer if new wheels are necessary.

BODY INSPECTION

16) Inspect on / off switch

17) Inspect bag or filters (in bagless vacuums)

18) Inspect clean bag cavity

19) Inspect front cover

20) Inspect clean-out port

21) Check cord for wear and safety clean cord . Replace if damaged as necessary.

22) Inspect handle latch and spring

23) Inspect cord holder latch

24) Inspect HEPA filters and notify customer if a new filter is necessary

25) Final performance test and safety test.

A new belt and clean paper bag will be replaced as needed

Spring

West Michigan Women's Expo

Over the next few months, we are often thinking about spring cleaning, opening day of baseball, and spring break vacations. Miele S5

If you consider yourself a neat freak, this is the vacuum for you. If you want to to do the job quick and right, this is the vacuum cleaner for you. If you want to have great air filtration, again, this is the vacuum for you. I think you have the idea--it is a vacuum that can meet a lot of needs. The one need this will not meet is the need to replace your vacuum cleaner every couple of years. Actually, you might want to get an extra one for a loved one that would enjoy a cleaner home.

Why "The 24 hr vacuum showroom"

I own a retail vacuum sales and service shop in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Seeing this business succeed is a passion of mine. I love to work with customers and help them find a vacuum that fits their lifestyle. I also enjoy fixing vacuums that are broken and working with my hands. What I love most about this business is that it gives me a chance to do both.
That being said, I am a father and husband and love those titles more then the title of businessman, salesman, and repairman. Because I want to be with my family, I have business hours that may not fit everyone. That is where the idea of the 24hr showroom comes in to play.
I will be posting demonstrations and information about vacuums on this blog and hope to get your feedback about your vacuum.
